Alliband Business Services won the contract to supply and install the Audio Visual requirements for Stourbridge Colleges brand new Art & Design Centre.
The building contractors were unsuccessful with their tender to carry out the AV work as Allibands solution enabled the college to save in excess of 40K
This left Alliband and the College with a problem – none of the AV works could take place until the building contractors had handed the building over to the college. Two weeks before the start of term!
Never shy of a challenge, Alliband agreed to carry out the work, in the required time scales with only one condition. We needed un-limited access to the building, 7 days a week, 7.00am – 10.00pm for the two weeks.
The Result
Epson supplied all the Projectors through our distributor on a “special Bid Basis” A saving to our client of £180.00 per projector.
All equipment was purchased two months in advance and stored at our warehouse. This avoided any potential supply issues that are quite common during educations summer break.
The builders handed the site over to their client at 3.00pm on the Friday, within 30 minutes our engineers had started work.
The project was completed 3 days before the start of term and all class rooms operated without any issues.
